Though the sorrows may last for the night,

His joy comes in the morning.

Two nights ago, I came back home with a heavy heart, probably it was due to the many daunting workload that I have at hand, as well as things which I have yet settle. I thought I could get some load off my chest by breaking the news to my Mum regarding the meet-the-parents session, but instead of suggesting words of wisdom, she twisted the knife and piqued my feelings with her oppressive comments. Fail? 不及格就不要读啦, 直接去作工! 读到那么辛苦, haiya!

Thanks sheep for the words of reassurance at the cuppage staircase! The words may not be elaborate but they totally hit the jackpot! They sure made a whole lot of difference. I love you!

I'm trading my sorrows
I'm trading my shame
I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord

Fight strong, Xanthe, fight strong!
